Walking the streets of Bonsai Village is an adventure. If the garden gates of a home are open, it means visitors are welcome to stop in and look around. Many of the bonsai are being looked after or “babysat” for their owners, including an ancient collection of bonsai from the Royal family. Bonsai owners keep their delicate bonsai here for safekeeping and have them delivered to their homes for special occasions.
The beautiful Bonsai Museum is located here and houses the most spectacular collection of bonsai trees that I have ever seen in one place.
Everyone was gracious and welcoming and loved to talk about these beautiful trees.
It take a bit of effort to get here, but a visit to Bonsai Village is unforgettable.
