More food trends

Okay wrap anything in dough and I’m a fan.  These are empanadas from Florida Cookery in the James Royal Palm Hotel in Miami Beach.  They cook a selection of them every day and they are usually available at breakfast (unless I’ve already gotten there and eaten them all).  Try the alligator empanada.  Best-tasting reptile I’ve ever eaten.

One of the coolest bars in Miami right now is The Broken Shaker in the Freehand Hotel.  This is a 1930s era hotel with a Hemingway feel to the bar. It is THE place to experience the best mixology in South Beach.  Ask for Bernie the bartender and tell him Sharon sent you….
